Community Involvement
Annual supporter of the White River Health System Breast Care Center.
- We are proud to partner with the WRHS Foundation Breast Care Center
every October as Part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In 2017, we
honored Jo Ann Thompson by renaming Project Pink in her memory. Jo
Ann was a life long member of the Wood Family Dealership team.
Partner each year with the North Central Arkansas United Way and Stuff The Bus
- It's a thrill every year to partner with the North Central Arkansas Chapter
of the United Way on their Stuff The Bus campaign. We participate in Best
Foot Forward and help provide shoes for children in our local schools that
might not otherwise get new shoes for school. Over 1000 pairs have been
donated since the initiative began.
Partnered with other local businesses in the Batesville Pioneer Mobile Medical Center
- We are proud to be a part of a community effort to make our Pioneer
Student-Athletes safer by helping provide more immediate and
comprehensive access to injury treatment at sporting events. Several
businesses throughout our community have coordinated efforts to put the
Mobile Medical Center together, and we proudly provide the truck that gets
it where it needs to go!
Multi-year sponsor of local CPR training and certification
- The National Association of Auto Dealers (NADA) Foundation has a
program that allows local automotive dealers to partner with hospitals,
schools, and other organizations to provide CPR training equipment.
Though we are not eligible to participate every year, we have been able to
partner with several organizations in the past including White River Health
Systems, Batesville and Southside Schools and Vital Link EMS. This
partnership is available to us every two or three years, and we are thrilled
to participate every chance we get.
Driver's Education supporter
- We partner with several local schools to provide vehicles for their Drivers'
Education Programs. Preparing future drivers to be safe and responsible
behind the wheel is so important. We are proud to help local schools with
this critical educational opportunity by providing vehicles to train the drivers
of tomorrow in our local schools.
We believe that serving the needs of our children is critical in planning for
the future of our community, so we focus many of our efforts on supporting
these kids. Each year we sponsor facilities at local schools and parks,
support arts and music programs, and donate or contribute to countless
programs that directly impact the kids in our communities and their families.
We are proud to take part in every one, and we believe these efforts make
our community a better place to live, both now and in the future.
